will they ever make the Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic and the normal headphones with remote and mic ever work for the iPhone 3G?
they have made the 3GS come with it in the box, which really pisses me off because it does not work for the 3G, why would it work for the 3GS.
which to me makes noooo sense, they should really start working on making those headphones work for the 3G because ive needed a new set for a while and i wanted to get those one day when i was at the store and they said it doesnt work with my iPhone.
sometimes apple really pisses me off, in the tiniest ways possible

Yup they still dont work, well the volume buttons. All else is good

Now I'd relly like to know what the hardware aspect that REALLLY prevents them from working. Do the new headphones have a volume button that makes em work?

they put the normal ones in that we got with the 3G but it has volume controls on it and a mic.
but the ones that i was interested in was the in-ear ones, not just because of the volume control, but i use those headphones for calls too... the volume may work and pausing/ changing songs and all that, but you are unable to use it to make phone calls, which is my main concern.
i like being able to wear the headphones and basically having it like i have a wireless headset, but its headphones.

I know which you are talking about, these Apple - iPod - In-Ear Headphones and i have them. It works fine for me (all cept volume control) Got mine for about 40 US on ebay, the fit and quality is awesome despite any reviews you might read out there. If by making calls you mean talking then yes I can and have been doing that.

because everyone in the apple store was saying that you are unable to use them with it and since they were 89 bucks i didnt want to spend the money to experiment on it.

Not trying to take away from apple, (since im soon to start working there) BUT do give ebay a look, if you want me to find the buyer I got mine from let me know. Cheers
