Can anyone tell me if Apple Care from Apple finally comes with a version of Tech Tools that is OSX native?

Yes the CD in AppleCare does have a OS X Bootable portion on the CD (As well as OS 9) and the TechTool Software runs in OS X.

Now is it Panther compatible?
Don't Know :(

I was able to start up my Powerbook up off the AppleCare CD, but I never tried running TechTool Pro. It is very slow booting, but it works.

Also, Tech Tool Pro 4 which was just released is Panther compatible and also is a bootable CD (also allows to make a bootable drive in order to avoid the 5 minute CD startup).

Macspectrum - No I didn't. However I have seen it and it does work well.

The AppleCare CD contains version 3.0.3

Not sure if an upgrade to Version 4.0.1 will be made available, and I haven't heard anything, but it is possible.

I had bought Drive 10 ( with the Free Tech Tool 4 uprade offer) back in the spring. I received my Tech Tool Pro CD last week.
