On your iBook? I brought it in to a local Apple retailer and they fixed it under warranty, no questions asked. Unless you don't have Applecare for it...

I don't have Applecare for it, I just bought it used and
the white spots are very distracting. I was hoping for a magic solution I guess...
I did manage to massage 3 dead pixels out of my brand new Imac a few months ago.
