I'm surprised by the 12" PB offering.
I still think its a partial excuse to keep the iBooks @ G3 level.
Nice option though with SuperDrive.
The 17" is crazy!

Me Likey! I'd like it with a 15" high res screen though, 17 is just a little on the FREAKING HUGE side, not to mention the not exactly portable-ness of something that big.

Macspectrum, this is exactly my position. Due to vision problems, I hesitated at selecting the 15" PB over the 17" iMac. Now, my decision is made. We shall see.
