I noticed when I received my new Powerbook 12.1" 1Ghz superdrive that it only comes with one software CD. Over the many years that I have purchased Macs, I always seemed to get a whole fistfull of them. IE: software install, software restore, encyclopedias, cook books, world atlas, how to wash behind your ears and more. Nice now that I only have to worry about that ONE CD. No more hunting around when I next trade in or sell.

I havn't looked at mine closely yet but I assume it's a DVD, not a CD.

I really like the fact that Apple are utilizing the DVD format more prolifically. I noticed that DVD studio pro ships on a DVD too, very smart.

well, when you buy a mac with the word power in the name, you don't get the software bundle that the others do, so there is no encyclopedia, atlas, or ear washing tutorial.
