Things are way outta whack down there.

Some states have passed legislation either denouncing or barring compliance with the RealID program and people from states that do not adopt it will require passports to enter their own National Parks:

The cards would be mandatory for all "federal purposes," which include boarding an airplane or walking into a federal building, nuclear facility or national park, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff told the National Conference of State Legislatures last week. Citizens in states that don't comply with the new rules will have to use passports for federal purposes.
CNN

Some of these things make sense, like a nuclear facility, but Yellowstone???

upon approaching the park guardhouse; "Achtung, Papers pleezzz !!"
The Land of the Free ... USSR-style.
Paranoia, American style.
Something is wrong when you can't freely travel inside a democratic country.
As much as some are pointing finger at the US, Canada is not far behind. The no-fly list and CSIS harassing Canadian Muslims are just two examples of how we are going down that road.
Can someone say... SCARY?
Giving up your freedoms for security, but security for whom? Is it a fair trade?

And remember Bush Co. is attempting to bring that kind of security to Canada.

Who are these m-icomplex terrorists you speak of? Do they make or have access to weapons of mass destruction? Do m-icomplex terrorists insist on uniformity conformity in a religious zeal of free unfettered unseen hands? How fearful should we be of these terrorists?:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::eek:
Quick! Everyone blame Stephen Harper!

Too late gt.

There are some on this board who have already done so for every conceivable reason. ;)

Carefull MS, Sinc will misread your comments and say that you are blaming all on Harper...
Yeah, careful Spec, I'm dangerous when you mention Harper.

Didn't expect you to need help to handle me though. :D

Where did I write "dangerous"? If I were not so careful, I'd write that you like making stuff up...

Not to worry. I was not referring to you or anything you said, nor directing the comment to you.
