I'm new to Mac and in the need of accounting software for a new small business. Any suggestions? Needs to handle PST/GST of course.

I'm looking at Moneyworks right now. Seems to have all of the features and there are 3 versions so there is a growth path. They've developed an interface to allow it to talk to FileMaker and I believe that they are open to finding other applications to communicate with.

I'm planning on becoming a consultant and adding the product to the Daylite and FileMaker solutions that I offer now.

Hope this helps,
I would have to agree with the Moneyworks software, looks very well put together.
Thanks guys... also found it at http://www.mgpacc.com/. I emailed them to ask a couple questions and the reply was almost instant - great service. Which version are you considering? I'm thinking the Express, but like you said I can upgrade later if needed.

I do enough transactions in US currency, and as far as I'm able to see, the Gold is the only one that supports multi-currency.

Thanks for the kind words Lee. I appreciate it.

And Steve you are correct, for multi-currency you would need MoneyWorks Gold. It's also multi-user, does inventory control, job costing and time billing.
