We took off today now that we have our Honda back in action (awesome on gas) and took off to Collingwood. We stopped for a tea at Timmies at Wasaga beach then drove up into Collingwood my old stomping grounds...then we drove up to Thornbury and had a butter tart at a small cute bakery. We then drove through Clarsburg and off to find some waterfalls. We weaved in and out all over beaver valley and took some pictures. We then drove down through Flesherton, Durham, Mount Forest and into Guelph it was a lot of fun....had the ipod going, the camera clicking and some excercise too:D

On the way up we went through Orangeville up up HWY 89 then up airport road. I have never been to Orangeville and the whole trip back through Mount Forest and Durham etc was all new to me so it was an exciting day...

The weather is fabulicious.....when I was back out west I missed this area so badly...and from Guelph it's only 1.5 hours depending on how you drive...hehe:heybaby:

Wicked waterfall! Nice photos, too. :) I have to make some time and head up there myself...
Thanks Lars, this time of the year doesn't do it justice though...when things green up and there are leaves on the tree's it is heaven on earth....the views of Georgian bay are breath taking...
southern georgian bay is my backyard and playground
the long, lonely months of winter now give way to the sultry days of summer

golf membership paid for
house almost done, tv delivered
i should be back in next week and then let the games begin....

Summer starts earlier there than in any other place in the world? Amazing.
That bakery, if it is the one I am thinking of (right on the main drag at the main set of lights) has the most bestest butter tarts ever!
