Greetings fellow ehMac members!

Long time member here (since 2008- yeah, I know- I signed up using my real name for other reasons of anonymity). I've recently released a new app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad- and I figured I'd toss a few promo codes out here to celebrate.

The app is called Numatron 2. It's a retro nixie clock emulator of the sorts. If you're into that sort of thing or otherwise love that retro nixie look, then this is totally the clock for you.

There's a few other nixie clock apps out there, but I'm pretty confident that this is the best one on the market at the moment since it includes full support for all Apple iDevices at their native resolution in both display orientations. The graphics were hand-created by myself in 3D and are the result of several months of hard work. No Photoshop here- just a 100% dimensionally and mechanically accurate 3D reproduction of a nixie tube, specifically designed for use in Numatron 2.

Here's some promo codes for my fellow Candians:

*All promo codes used*

You can view the app in the iTunes Music Store through the link here.

Likewise, the app website (which is pretty simple) is here.

Please reply to the thread when you've used a promo code so we all know which ones have been used, and I'll scratch them off the list.

Not sure how the coupon code works, So I bought it,
If anyone knows how coupon codes work, Then I guess I lose on this one.

I've installed it twice now, But I still can't get to the pref's screen,
Could be a bug with iOS 4.3.3, It's a waste of money so far.

Now I know why, Just checked my system settings on a hunch,
Sure enough there is the pref's screen for this app in the system pref's.

They should have said so on their iTunes page.

Argh!!!

Sorry about that.

The iTunes page has been updated. It will likely take a while for the changes to propagate. Thanks for pointing it out though!

You can enter the promo code by:
1) Launching iTunes and signing into the iTunes Music Store (if you haven't already)
2) Clicking on the "Redeem" link located under "Quick Links" on the right-hand side of the iTMS home page
3) Entering in one of the above promo codes

iTunes should accept it and start the download thereafter. If they've all been used up above (I've only received confirmation that 3 have been used), please let me know and I'll toss up another batch.

Cheers,

Since I can't delete or change my first review, Here is an update:

Edit: I've contacted the developer and made him aware of the difficulty that I was having finding the pref's,
I had expected to find an icon button to lead me to the pref's, But since I didn't, I then tried swiping the screen,
That didn't work either, So it just made me cranky.

Hopefully the pref's location for this app has been posted in the description by now, As requested by email.

In any case, I am now giving this app a 4 star rating,
It's a very nice app, But the pref location is annoying, I'd much rather have the pref's in the app.

Thanks for the offer via email,
It's a great product and I appreciate that you want to make amends,
But I have no need for free apps for friends or family.

I'll keep the app, Even though it cost me $2.99,
I'm just hoping that your update will have the pref's within the app,
Instead of in the system folder.

It's such a hassle to go to the system folder to change colours,
It means I have to close the app and switch pages on my iPhone to change the pref's.
A swipe of the screen within the app would be so much easier and I'm sure others would agree.

Cheers!

Good luck with your program

It's a winner for sure.
