I saw this key combination in someone's sig in another forum. I wouldn't know what practical use this could be, however, it's pretty neato! Could this be OS X's first "easter egg"??

Hit these keys:

Command, Option, Control and 8 (not the numerical keypad 8).

hit them again to stop it.

Pretty neat. Avatars look decidely spooky in reverse B/W :D

In Safari the key combinations with 0 to 7 switch the page to the first 8 pages on my bookmarks bar... Now who would want to hold 4 keys instead of clicking one button?

That is neat,
Makes me wish that I worked in an office and got to try that
out on some unsuspecting co-workers Mac, What fun you could have.

Not really an "easter egg"...it's part of the Universal Access preferences. See: System Preferences/Universal Access.

Have fun... :D

Really??? The mouse settings in Universal Access should only apply if "mouse keys" are activated... and you're using the Num Key pad as a mouse...(ie: keys 4-6-8-2 to move the cursor).

Otherwise, mouse tracking is controled by the "keyboard/mouse panel in System Preferences or by additional drivers in case of a non apple product.
