i already tried that. but here on Vancouver island? there is not a lot of people that sells or work on Mac. very few does, but most of them are like me. they hide their stash of goodness. LOL

It wouldn't hurt to keep reminding some of the recycle places for what you were looking for and don't forget some of the individual owner run places such as Simply Computing who might get offered a trade in.
And is the Nanaimo area Mac group still running???

I don't know if the Victoria Mac User Group is still going or not or if it has a for sale spot available as I haven't been a member or associated with the particular club for many years now. But many such members always seem to think eventheir 10 or 15 year old Mac is almost worth what they paid for it, with the very odd exception. ;-)

The trouble being on the Island is if you have to go searching beyond its reach, one gets stuck for Freight and Delivery charges.

the NMUG? with Jean guy? no they stoped doing it for years sadly enough. i get in touch with Jean guy some time to time, but i haven't heard anything about the NMUG. Sad though as it was a fun group. not sure if someone took over. i'll have to do some research.[/QUOTE]
