13" MacBook Aluminum (with Snow Leopard) -SOLD

Specs:
- Macbook 5,1
- 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo CPU
- 2x 1GB (2GB Total) DDR3 1066 RAM
- 160GB 5400RPM HDD
- Only 40 cycles on battery
- NO blemishes or scratches
- NO dead pixels
- Used mostly at home

Comes with original box and all original software/accessories. Serial number at Apple's website shows that it's covered under the original warranty until November 21st, 2009. Applecare can be added before then to extend the warranty.

Everything works beautifully. I would estimate that the optical drive has about 10 hours of use. I've never had any trouble with keys or CD's. However, the cooling fan started making some noise when the unit was tilted but this was replaced by an Apple service centre under warranty. The battery only has 40 charge/discharge cycles and I was careful to calibrate it monthly as Apple recommends. The coconut battery utility shows only a 2% degradation from the original capacity. Apple states that their batteries are good for 300 charge cycles before seeing a 20% drop in capacity.

I'm planning on replacing it with a new iMac because I hardly every travel with the MacBook

Asking $950 CAD (cash only)

I'm located in Barrie and can arrange a half way meeting place from Toronto.
