I can't seem to decide between the older 3rd Gen shuffle (4GB) the new shuffle (2GB) or the new 6th Gen Nano (8GB) Besides the obvious price differences, I'm weaning toward the 3rd Gen, are there any huge benefits of the Nano and does the sound quality differ between the shuffles? Any help...

My iPod nano (about 2 yrs. old) was cutting in and out after playing it for about 1/2 hr. Researching on the forums, the problem pointed to the battery...Uggh, like $80 minimum to replace the battery. I kept reading and someone suggested to completely power it down , leave it, then power back...
