Hi,

I'm working on playback of a video file for an art project. Strangely, the file plays fine except for one segment where the frame rate drops from 25 to around 0.

i would suggest something like the epson 4990 perfection. it's a flatbed scanner that does a pretty good job with film as well. i think it will be more then useful for most purposes. very versatile...
