Free Ink
1 Attachment(s)
Can anybody use HP 94 inkjet cartridges?
I have one new and 2 partial cartridges. I can't use them anymore because my HP Printer that did use them is irreparably pooched. (and I have decided not to buy a replacement HP printer)

I can also throw in a partial HP 97 color cartridge if you want.

As the printer is completely inoperable I cannot run the ink level indicator and therefore I don't know how much is in the partials...or if they have dried up and are basically garbage as well..

The only one I can guarantee is full and useable is the one black HP 94 which is still sealed.

If you want any or all, just PM me to let me know and I'll throw then in the mail to you. :)

Hmmm - nobody wants at least $20 worth of ink for free?
Guess I'll just send it all to recycling unopened.:(

It's a selective market -- only those with HP model printers that take this particular cartridge style will be interested. Also, airmailing an opened ink cartridge is an invitation to spillage (especially due to reduced air pressure in unpressurized cargo holds) unless a good way of sealing the cartridge is found, and one that won't damage the inkjet head foils when it is taken off.

Yeah, I get this.
I have to wonder if all my ehMac buddies with the same HP printer that coincidentally died with the upgrade to Snow Leopard are no longer needing the ink for the same reason as myself.

Pretty bad when you can't even give away a new, unopened one.

I've noticed alot of threads on various boards about getting printers to work after upgrading to 10.6. Have you looked at those? Maybe it's not yet time to change printers. 'just saying.

Thanks Phoboga,
Yes, I have been haunting those threads as well as the HP and Apple forums and have gone through all the steps......multiple times.

This poor machine's problems may have started coincidentally with Snow Leopard, but now it won't even run through it's own self diagnostics successfully upon start up. It's not even connected to any camera or computer.

I cannot even use it as a simple copier anymore. So HP PSC2355 too is going into the recycle bin.

Staples will offers a store credit on a return with no original receipt. Didn't buy it at Staples? Well they don't have to know that...

FWIW if you still have a Leopard clone on your external you could boot from there and determine once and for all if the printer is ready for the graveyard.
