Ram for Apple iMac "Core Duo" 1.83

Hey Guys & Gals....

I've recently picked up a used in wonderful condition iMac Core Duo 1.83 (imac4,1)... However, it only has the base 512MB of Ram... It's desperately asking for more

Does anyone have any spare PC2-5300 DDR2 (2x1GB preferable) that they are looking to sell/part ways with?

I am/was going to order some new, but thought i might see if anyone had anything laying around

Thanks!

Breligion

So i am not sure if they are compatible.

That's the RAM you need... DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz.

I'll look in a bit. I know I have a stick or two of 512. But then it might just be useless sticks of 256.

Thanks guys, i've sent them a PM...
I think i was just focusing on the 2008 iMac and when i looked at the specs (rather then the post) it was the later 2008's...

Here's what I got for PC2-5300, 667MHz RAM. At one point in time I had an iMac, MacBook and my sister fried a MacBook which all had this ram. If the RAM can find a home it's free (shipping not included).

Four sticks of 1GB
Three sticks of 512MB
Two sticks of useless 256MB

It would appear as though the only sticks left are the 256MB ones. Doubt anybody wants those though...
