not sure about the ram but the processor is good, I heard someone say the logic boards on this model are a bit flaky though.

Apparently it has Apple Care to 2012. But what good is that if the OP isn't interested in selling? He's not getting back to me.

I did take it to the Genius bar and they tested it. Said it wasn't the video chip as far as I can remember. I also talked to the people at Mainly Mac who said it sounded like a dead logic board. (They didn't seem too interested in looking at it though.).
