Macbook C2D, BROKEN HARD DRIVE

I have a good condition Macbook its Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHZ 1GB 80GB hard drive

It has one issue and one issue alone, the hard drive broke. The computer starts up as normal just the drive is dead, the computer has no applecare so you can replace it yourself easily with 1 screwdriver. It will cost about 100$. If you add 45$ to the purchase price I can have a diagnostic done at the Genius Bar ( Apple) but I assure you it will just tell you what I already have.

The unit is perfect cosmetically, has original box, accessories ( some still in plastic). It just had a lowercase replacement ( 400$) gratis by the Genius bar, so it had a full diagnostic run just under a month ago.

Great deal for someone who wanted to explore Mac OSX while still paying under 1000$

Price is CASH PICKUP ONLY

Sorry for the naive question, but if this is such an easy fix (which it is), why don't you fix it yourself and sell it for proper market value?

Between the holidays, being a student with tuition due I literally don't have a dollar to spare. Especially after buying a Macbook Pro.
