Apple PowerBook G3 500 (Firewire/Pismo) for parts - $75

Have an Apple PowerBook G3 500 (Firewire/Pismo) for parts available.
I've totally forgotten about it until I started to clean out my things.

Apple PowerBook G3 500 (Firewire/Pismo) Specs (Firewire/Pismo - M7633LL/A*) @ EveryMac.com

I turned it on, but the screen shows nothing, but I hear a sound when I start it up.

Don't really know what's wrong with it and I personally do not have time or need to do so.
I don't really know what parts people can make use of, but pm me if interested in the parts.

$75 for the whole thing or make an offer on parts.

I live in scarborough/markham area.

Thanks

I'm helping a friend upgrade her Pismo 400. Looking for a HD (minimum capacity 30GB) and RAM, preferably 2 x 512MB modules. I'm located near Yonge and Eglinton, so we could meet up.

Thanks,
Arne

Found (& bought) a HD and one 512MB RAM module. Still looking for one more 512MB module. Let me know if you have one for sale.

Thank you.

Also looking to buy a battery. How long a charge does yours hold?

Thanks.

I wasn't able to check the RAM yet, but I'll get to it tonight and let you know. In regards to the battery, I honestly do not have a clue since I have not used this in a long time and it was primarily used as my family's computer for internet browsing.

Okay. There's no rush for the RAM. Thanks.

John Clay has a 512 megs sodimm PC133 for sale. That would fit in a Pismo.
