13" Aluminum unibody MacBook w/ 3yr APP

After a just a short time, I'm moving on from my 13" Aluminum Unibody MacBook that I got in October 2008. I've taken exceptional care of it, and yelled at people when they touched it

Here are the specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.0 Ghz
2GB DDR3 Memory (1066 Mhz)
160GB hard drive (the original drive that came with the machine. It was pulled on day one and has never been used except for a test boot today)
13.3" LED backlit glossy widescreen LCD, 1280 x 800 pixel resolution
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphic processor
SuperDrive
Comes with iLife '09 (unopened discs)

I've had absolutely zero issues with this machine and it has been perfect for me. There are no dead pixels and no scratches on the screen. It was always transported with care and well protected.

I should also note that this unit has an AppleCare Protection Plan good until 20 October 2011. APP can be transferred to a new owner relatively easily. I'll do it myself.

I would like to sell local, but I will ship if necessary via Xpresspost within Canada.

asking $1100 - price is negotiable.

Contact right here, through PM or via [email protected]

Feel free to ask questions.

Thanks

The time has come to give you my bottom line.

I want to get $1000 for this machine. No less. Pay your own shipping or local pickup.

....

Do the refurbs have AppleCare until October of 2011?
I think it's quite competitive taking that into account.

[deleted quoted price policing]

Seriously, your just crapping on this posting. Pick up the same refurb model for 1099 on Apple.ca, add the Applecare and you are close to 1600. How could $500ish off not be competitive? If you even just compare the notebook and treat the extended warranty as a bonus, how could $240ish off not be competitive?

Anyways, great price. Hope you sell it. Some people expect things to be for free.

(If you were local, I may have even grabbed it off you.)

Thanks for the defence!

I responded to the detractor not even realizing that he/she was price policing.

I did. The bottom case has a latch where you literally just push and it comes off. From there, removing the hard drive is ONE screw. Oh and I have a background in electronics engineering...not that it really matters. My grandma could swap the hdd on this thing

DrewNL: question for you on laptop?

Hello DrewNL, is the machine sold?

I am interested and was wondering about how to pay for the machine and, any guess on what shipping would be? [ I realise that shipping is on me ].

I'm thinking about it. By the way, dispite some posts to the contrary, I think your price appears to be right in there.

Thanx
