imovie got deleted...

I'm pretty sure someone in my house deleted imovie for whatever reason they thought they should.... is there any way to download an actual version and NOT an update?

You can re-install iMovie from the system disks that came with the machine.

You can control the damage other users can do on a multiuser machine by giving each user their own account with limits on their privileges and enforcing the use those accounts.
