Question Little Snitch vs. Lion

Hi everybody.
I need some first hand experience about Little Snitch and Lion.

I have LS 2.3 and Lion installed on my iMac (2011). Of course, the 2.3 version doesn't work with 10.7
I thought the app might simply not start but instead it just says "Your LS version is broken. You must download the latest version" or something along those lines.

So I know the 2.4 (Lion compatible) version is free to registered user but I also heard (and read on the LS forum) that it might act wonky or make the OS act wonky.

So my question is: Anyone tried to upgraded? How is it so far?

Thanks for your input

The only issue I've seen is the increase is startup time (though I don't know for sure that's Little Snitch for me) as I tend to only restart after serious crashes or for system updates.

The App Store and Software Update work fine for myself.

Thanks Chealion!
I've heard about some people having problems connecting to Software Update and App Store after the update. Glad to see it's not your case (which probably means there's something else involved for those problems...) I would hate to go to the "debugging mode" era again!

I've also heard about the increased start-up time... Is it that much longer (like, frustrating longer)?
I read that for some people, it can go up to 60 sec... (I know, we're kind of spoiled these days... )

I've had Lion and LittleSnitch running on my iMac without an issue. It's been working fine on both an admin account, and a regular user account. No issues that I've noticed.

Thanks Kardnal. So you got the LS 2.4 version, I guess?

It seems that a new version (2.4.1) is out and is supposed to help with SU and App Store connection issues... Any news on the start-up time being fixed, or is this issue doesn't even apply to your set-up?

Yup, 2.4. I haven't noticed any start-up, App-store, or other issues. Upgrading to 2.4.1 now, I'll let you know if it breaks anything.

+1.

There were issues with the early Lion builds, and the early Little Snitch betas for Lion, but there haven't been issues in a while.
