iMac 27" Late 2009: fan on high constantly

Since a couple of days ago, my iMac is constantly running the fans.

Components inside are report at 33-52 degrees Celsius. (I don't know if this is high or not - I'm guessing not).

This did not coincide with a system update.

What should I do? See screenshot:

Before I read this, I did almost that - I just shut down and unplugged all cables and left it for five minutes. It seems to be okay now!

thanks to both of you for responding
