Don't say that. all macs deserve a second chance and a third and a fourth and ETC...
i have revived so many macs around like G4, G5 and even older model and even my customers are impress on how strong mac can handle the abuse ...

i say, don't give up. the opportunity will come for you to revive that machine to it's fullest .

I have revived mine over 4 times already and it is still kickin'. just the cooling fan have gave up on me, but i am going to custom build one this week. As yours' is just like mine. So don't give up hope. there is a machine out there that can revive yours. so look around.

Good luck!
