Is there a doctor in the house? I have a 366SE clamshell iBook in which the battery no longer charges when connected to the AC power source. Has anyone any advice to offer on the fix for this. I've reset the PRAM -no change. (You needn't practise medicine to chime in here.) Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I am assuming your machine does run off of AC power. If so, It is likely a dead battery or your PMU/charge board. All you have to do is swap out your battery to eliminate one of those two. Let me know f you need a charge board.

Thanks doctor! The battery is charging up a storm right this minute. I had some crashing problems with an ethernet hub and had to reboot the hard way several times. The remedy was to reset the power manager as the doctor indicated and the patient is recovering nicely.
