I'm having this Netscape problem where after typing in a URL in the URL field (location field?), I press enter and nothing happens. It seems like the enter key is not even being recognized.

Pressing 'enter' in any other application works fine. Even pressing 'enter' in website text fields works fine. It's just the #@$% stupid location/url field that doesn't recognize 'enter'!

Any ideas?

enter/return key works on 10.1.5 and flat panel iMac with Netscape7 for me so it would appear to be machine specific. Delete and reinstall 7.0 perhaps?

Oop, I always for get to give my specs. I'm using OS 9, G4 Sawtooth.

It used to work. Like a month ago, maybe something got corrupted. A re-install might work. Funny thing is, after it started happening in NS 7. It started happening in an old install of NS 6.2! Weird.

My solution: Internet Explorer.

IE works great. Maybe I'll give Mozilla a try too.
