I am running a QuickSilver 867. Recently upgraded to Jaguar and now would like to get iDVD back.

On Apple's website if you click on the "download iDVD" link, you are actually directed to the iDVD updater, NOT a full install.

I pulled out my original CD's that shipped with the computer and cannot see where I can install iDVD 1, so I can run the update.

I am sure that I am missing something simple here.

Any thoughts?

IDVD2 wasn't available for a download. You had to send away for it and it was shipped on a DVD.

I don't know if the offer is still available, but it was $20 for shipping.

I found a way to get iDVD back from my iMac software CDs take all the .img files from your software restore CDs and load them into a folder and then launch the first one and grab the iDVD folder from the Applications folder.

Bob's your uncle.
