Moreover, why am I unable to locate any HE or HF types in different SMD codebooks?

Look here for marking HF
<http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/toshiba/1264.pdf>
2SC3124

and here for marking HE
<http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/toshiba/1283.pdf>
2SC4250

Form factor is SOT-23 just like Q1.

In additional to previous I have Q1- H7XZ1

H6xxx Si2366DS SOT-23 N-Channel 30 V (D-S) MOSFET

H7xxx Si2367DS SOT-23 P-Channel 20-V (D-S) MOSFET

HExxx AP130-38R SOT23R-3L 3.8V 300mA Low Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator

HFxxx AP130-39R SOT23R-3L 3.9V 300mA Low Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator

Have you tried some Google searches such as this:
https://www.google.com/search?q=23%2...hrome&ie=UTF-8

And this one from there looks rather similar and maybe some of the contacts are still available who can help:

But is that display really worth fixing considering the improvements that have been made to monitors all these last several years? And most have dropped their prices for actually comparatively much better quality displays.
