Unhappy Imac G3 Screen Settings Reseting??

Hi guys im having a problem with my old imac g3 it seems every-time i turn it on the screen settings sizes have reset to some default setting. I can go to system properties and change it but when i turn the computer on next time its back to some other setting.

I checked google which had nothing and if anyone knows anything that would help that would be good.

Oh the computer is a slot loading imac g3 (indigo) 400mhz, 512mb, 10gb hdd, cd rom, ati rage 128 8mb - just so you know the right model

RUNNING OSX 10.3.9

Thanks for your help

Try resetting the VRAM, and I'd also check the battery on that model -- if you don't remember the last time you changed it, it needs changing.

The PRAM battery for sure.

If you are unsure how to change this I have prepared a pdf file that explains it quite clearly. Copy me privately with your eMail address if you would like me to forward it.
