Weird network adapter problem

Hi folks,

I had Parallels on my system about 4 months ago and removed it. The app and the data are entirely gone. I noticed this week that in System Preferences, under the Network section, the "Parallels host-only adapter" and "Parallels Shared networking Adapter" are still there. I removed them today and then went on a road trip. When I rebooted, those two entries were back.

How can I make the two Parallels entries go away permanently? Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Thanks
