Sync Question-Iphone,Imac, Google Calendar-Almost got it!
Hey all heres what i am having trouble with
-installed "collaboration tool" from google so i can sync to/from ical to google calendar
-can sync iphone calendar with ical on the the imac
-can sync google calendar to/from iphone calendar via neums sync on the iphone
problem is if i sync the iphone calendar to imac's ical calendar, it goes in a separate calendar that i cant sync with google, because, and correct me if I'm wrong, the calendar has to be first created on the google side then imported into it. you can;t make it on the ical side of the connection.
i am trying to do this without buying any syncing software-is there a way to get the iphones calendar to sync into one of the calendars that can sync to/from ical/google calendar-ii can see the other calendars on the iphone and can sync them to google first then to ical-but there are times when i am not on the net and would jus like to sync them to ical, then when i am connected, sync then to google
is there any way to run a script that would do the following, when i sync form the iphone to ical (through itunes) it creates a calendar named 'calendar', is there any script that would automatically copy this information into another calendar that is able to sync with google from the ical side. i wouldn't even care if there was redundant information left in the one named 'calendar', but if it could be erased after it was copied into a new sync-able calendar, that would be even better.
