playing dvds files on ps3 through Medialink

I've burned numerous dvds i own to my hard drive with mactheripper. I've been attempting to watch them wirelessly through my ps3 via Medialink, but that program doesn't like the video_ts files. Not too savvy with video conversion apps. Can anybody give me a heads up on the easiest way to convert the video_ts file into DIVX?..or could somebody point me to a thread with this info?
