Genius level question

I have an Alchemy TV card and a firewire camera. I use Quicktime Broadcaster and Darwin Streaming server to broadcast TV/camera video. I want to be able to change the source from TV to camera or vice versa, through an email while not at home. That's the easy part, I think I can figure out the solution from this page of scripts, I hope : http://www.apple.com/applescript/blu...oadcaster.html
(I've done the most minimal of apple scripting).
I also want to be able to change the channel. I have a tiny app called "tuner" - I don't remember where I d/led it from. It basically gives me the ability to change channels easily. I'd like to some how create an Automator action or applescript to use the tuner app to change channels. I'd be happy to create 72 of the same script one for each channel. You can d/l the tuner app from http://home.primus.ca/~steve247/ my space on primus .ca. It brings up a window to change channel settings - no need to play with those unless you want to use it with your cable provider (I'm in Mississauga with Rogers). If you go to the app in the dock in brings up the list of channels, that is how I select the channel I want in QT Broadcaster.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Steve

Do you have the source to the tuner.app? You could include AppleScript support or support for Automater actions in the code.

http://developer.apple.com/documenta...pts/index.html

Otherwise how about controlling the GUI of the tuner.app through VNC or Apple Remote Desktop?

No I don't have the source - hell even if I did I'd be clueless. And Yeah I've used Bosco in the past to log into my Mac and change channels, or sources, but that is a less than elegant solution. BTW Bosco is absolutely an amazing app. It's not Apple Remote Desktop, but it's FREE, and a piece of cake to setup.
