do i need a new vid card?

Hi i work mainly in photoshop cs and illustrator cs and have noticed that the programs aren't as zippy as they used to be(dual 1.42Ghz G4). I have 2GB of ram now but only a 64MB Ati 9000 which i have a 20" lcd and 19" crt connected to. My question is...is the problem my videocard? Would a 128MB card make the programs run smoother? Please help.

its just kinda expensive if it doesnt do the trick

Are you running at a higher resolution than you used to, or is the second monitor a new addition? Those are about the only reasons that you might see a slowdown due to your existing video card. CS doesn't make use of any of the video card's features apart from its ability to display graphics, so speed issues other than those described above will have their cause somewhere else.

Yeah and everyone is complaining about CS2 being slow.

Need a G5?? we got lots

Seriously a vid card at this point in time and for your use is marginal.

How full is your drive??
