Using still frames in iDvd

I am currently converting all my home videos onto DVD. When I export them into iDVD, I naturally want to use still frames from the film on the menu, however the only way I've been able to manage this is to use "Grab", and edit the printscreen in photoshop and turn it into a jpeg that way.

There must be an easier way....?

Regards,
n.d.

You could open the video in Quicktime and go to the part of the movie you want to make a still of and use the copy command (APPLE+C) and go into Photoshop and make a new document (it should automatically default the necessary dimensions of your copied image) and then paste and save.

You can also capture still images directly from your iMovie project...

Open iMovie-->File-->Save Frame As...

You'll get a choise of jpeg or PICT.
