How do I delete a Partition

Hey guys I have Panther right now and I"m going to update to Tiger, I have 2 partitions right now and want to delete one. how do I delete the partition? Thanks

You cannot delete it without reformatting the drive. You can only erase the partition.

you might try iPartition which lets you manipulate partitions without formatting

demo available, but doesn't "write" changes

There have been a number of renditions of that idea over the years and I would trust NONE of it without backup.

If you have backup - you don't need it.
If you don't have back up.............you're even MORE foolish. Not a hard concept at all.

The underlying assumption from the client is "safely".

On YOUR head be it. Whatcha gonna tell him if it mucks up?????

That HE should know the difference "cannot" and "should not"??? I think not.
