iBook key won't snap back in

Arrggh.

Accidentally popped off some keys on my iBook while trying to clean out some cat hair from in between the keys. I managed to figure out how to get most of them back in, but one stubborn key ('d') won't go back in.

What do I do? Any ideas? I write for a living, and I need to figure out the fastest solution.

Thanks.

Could be that the little hooks on the key are broken...

Is this the case?

You will have to replace the key, as they need to be movable and the little hook is minute. Check with a local service shop maybe they will be nice and sell a single key, and you install.

The little hooks seem to be there, but for some reason, they won't stay hooked when I'm trying to get the key to click in. Perhaps there are broken a little bit? Very frustrating.

Man, those tiny little hooks are annoying.

Anyway, thanks Heart. I'll see if I can do that.
