here's gotta be a way!

Hmmm...??? I just went to the site using my outdated Chrome on Mavericks, and it behaved more or less like a normal page, but I am running the Extension
Adblock Plus, and it threw-up a listing banner of all the crap that it was blocking on that page.

After selecting an application to download, I got a new pageThat included two options:
Direct Download or Start to Download.

I don't know what they mean or the difference is, but I didn't try it, but it looks like it should work.

I have no idea if they charge money or not after one tries either of the download options.

Bottom-line, it seems as though it should work, at least for me.

10.9 may be far enough back to grab some of these. No they never ask for money or credit card details. But there is a lot of clickbait before one gets to the cigar!

Your description is different from my screenshot, on which you can see three, not two, download options.

If you're willing, will you try to actually grab a torrent? This may mean turning off Adblock.

If that's possible, I can then go through a checklist of what I have to do to grab any of these.

So far, for me, it's been all 'you can't get there from here"! Thank you!

I tried again with Adblock disabled, but never again thanks.

I didn't get many ads showing, but sure did get a lot of odd behaviour, complete with the Notice I needed to download a new up to date Flash player And some other file I was supposed to just click the download button.

No thanks, and that's the last time I will visit that site Thank you!!!

Thanks for your efforts, Patrick. Hopefully, I'll eventually get this sorted & report back...if I still have a working Mac after disabling every security 'feature'! Really need a kill switch.
