Thanks, Patrick, though I'm using a DSLR for increased image quality, so the phone won't work.

I did a little digging and found a discussion on GitHub about something they're referring to as "enableLargerThanScreen."

See here: https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/8141

I'm not a coder so I'd have no idea how to execute this, but it seems like it could be a possible solution. Any thoughts?

Just had a brainwave....

Can't test it - but... what if you plug in an external monitor, and arrange it so that the second monitor is on top of your primary (built-in) screen? That should enable you to move an image off the top....?

It may require you to move the menu-bar to the external monitor and put Zoom / Skype / FaceTime on what would now be your laptop screen (secondary monitor).

See: StackExchange

Remembering back when I was running multiple displays (if you haven't done it, OMG, it's SOOOOO useful!), you *can* leave a window overlapping the two monitors.

I wish. This is a really good idea but for some reason, Catalina doesn't seem to allow a window to exist on two screens at a time. The window must choose one monitor or another. As soon as the top of the window enters another screen, it chooses that one.

Wait a second! I have at least a temporary solution: zoom in accessibility settings. It's not ideal, so looking for something more elegant still. But this is a start!
