Replacement Charger for 2011 MacBook Pro

I need to buy another two or thee chargers for the various 2011 15-unch MacBook Pros I have in the family.

Initially I bought "genuine" Apple but those didn't last any longer than the after market types, thery were just more expernsive.

Now I'm debating if I should buy OEM or third party.

Came across this Canadian site that offers both - price difference is only afewdollars so OEM would be the way to go with them.

https://batteryfort.ca/collections/o...ckbook-charger

Trouble is I never heard of that company before and they give no actual address/location of their company which always makes me a bit suspicious

Other sites offer 3rd party chargers for only $C19,99 - I bought from them and they do work and last a reasonable amount of time.

Anyone order a MacBook Pro charger recently from a vendor they would recommend?

Those chargers are not "Genuine". Those are knockoffs, and likely unsafe. Apple has never used strain relief like that in the picture.

A few reasons, amongst many:

Working in the field, I would avoid the third-party chargers. They're $20 for a reason. A few months back, I had a customer who damaged the logic board in his MBP 13" using a knock off charger. Went from charging the battery to the computer no longer powering on overnight.

Of course, maybe he ordered his from a sketchy place overseas, but use caution.
