Formatting issue.
The PC will not likely see an HFS+ format.
If you partitioned the drive and formatted a PC section than should be no issue at all.

In Australia and the web site is out of date.
Lots of good deals on Retinas, previous high end MacPros and current MacPro 6 core bundles in stock. [email protected]

boot from PC?????
Windows will not even mount an HFS+ volume unless you have something like MacDrive5 installed
you can download a free trial version from

patitioning the drive will not work
Windows formatting such as FATx and NTFS are incompatible with Mac formatting such as HFS+
the files sytems use different formatting
the drive can only be one or the other
