Arrow

MS-Word 2001
Mac OS 9.2.2
iMac G3/350
256 MB RAM

When entering text a "crosshairs" appears next to the "insertion tool"
the crosshairs follows the insertion tool on the page
the crosshairs do not exist in other text editing software

any hints?
thanx

As an alternative, click the Text Box button on the Drawing toolbar, which you can display by clicking the Drawing button on the Standard toolbar. When you do that, the mouse pointer changes to crosshairs.
