At least some seem to have fixed their wake from sleep problem with a SMC and a PRAM reset.

Worth a try and it's safe.

And maybe do a Safe Boot and run Disk Utility and run the Permission Repairs and Verify Disk and then restart normally.
The SMC reset SEEMS to have addressed this. Thanks!

I did the SMC reset and so far no problems!

Well let's hope the fix sticks.

I've always been an SMC and a PRAM reset advocate, especially with possible System Preferences problems, but I wanted some other's comments to confirm that it still often works with recent Macs and OS X.x.

So it was't similar, was it? Have you tried switching off the auto brightness adjustment for that issue?
