I just picked up a new iphone 5 (Rogers)
I was wondering if there are any do's & don't before I get loading it up?

Speedtest.net (opens app store). Check your LTE speed and report that so I can compare to mine

Also be careful about bandwidth because it's much faster than 3G and can quickly go over your monthly limit.

And seriously, don't use pictures of cats as background. Trust CTA on that.

I would have thought the cat thing would have been a no brainer

My apologies for asking such a dumb question, and no I don't have or use any iDevice, but just curious as to what gives with avoiding any cat wallpaper?

I don't think that's a dumb question at all. I own an iPhone 5 and keep a picture of our son's cat as wallpaper on the phone and it is no different than any other wallpaper. The warnings about cat wallpapers are in my opinion pure bunk and nothing more.

My THANKS and relief to you SINC.

I thought I might have been missing some iOS feline "cat" wallpaper/desktop photo quirk.

PS: I got a real chuckle of your recent St. Albert article on the real story as to why the angel may be on the top of one's Christmas tree which I shared with some others. And thanks for that as well.
