It really is cool, even if the digitizer is lifted up (But still connected to device via cable) it still tracks your finger movement. It really is magical technology.

Thanks for the info, and I realized that I could just Google for the info which I just did.

I didn't realize there were so many different types and technologies used.

PS: Those Fred Flintstone sized portion of ribs sounded good.

And yup, glasses and eye aids seem to often become a necessity after or around the 40 year age mark. And especially when working on small and delicate things.

I created a fun little video of an iPhone 4 Repair. (Sped-up just a little)

Am starting to get quite a few orders through the site. One customer said they heard about ehPhone through someone mentioning from ehMac, so thanks for sending friends and referrals!

Thanks, and I can usually fix most things but I think I'll leave such repairs to you thanks, if and when I ever need such a repair.

"Sped-up just a little" is a bit of an understatement but I get the general method of what's involved.

The magnifying lamp your wife gave you are nice, and the next step will be an "OptiVISOR", and maybe mandatory in a few years.

Mayor do you replace batteries for 2nd gen iPod touches? I think mine bit the bucket, as I think it is pay back for taking bad about the new iPod Nano. Steve's way of telling me to buy a new one.

Our local Kitchener - Waterloo iPhone and iPad Repair business has been going really well and we continue to get busier each week. Our most popular service so far, has been reparing cracked iPhone 4 Glass. iPhone 4 batteries are also quite popular.

I really enjoy helping people get their damaged iPhones or iPads back in working order, many times the response is really great. Behind the cracked iPhones and iPads, there's quite a few interesting stories on how the devices were damaged and I've seen a few real doozies.

If you have any questions or need any help with a broken iPhone or iPad, free free to fire me a PM here.

I do recommend if you have a broken device, to check with Apple on your coverage and if they are able to help. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a local Apple Store if close by. Sometimes, they will make amazing out of warranty exceptions and replace your device. Other times, you may be looking at a very costly repair or price for a refurbished replacement and ehPhone might be able to help get your device working in tip-top shape for significantly less. Ultimately, I want you to have a working iPhone or iPad!

Thanks for your support.
