Help with edDigital Effects?

Hi All,
My daughter was given an add-on for imovie by a friend. It's called deDigital Effects and arrived via download. We've installed it all but can't get it to run. An error message keeps showing up saying that we don't have the right application to open any of the plug-ins. There are very vague instructions about moving the plug-ins to a new folder in the library of the start menu but it's not very clear at all. Does anyone have any experience with this program? It also says something about running on version 6.3 but does not say 'and above'. Our version is newer than that. If anyone knows anything, I'd love to hear it!
