will look into it and let you know. I have a cable you can splice that has the end on it that you need. I did he exact same thing on my old ilamp I can send it if you want to just try that?

Yeah, just pm your address to me. It isn't hard to do, and mine worked great after. I spliced it together them put a blob of super glue gel on the bare wire to kind of insulate it. (easier than trying electrical tape on such a small wire). Let me know when you get it and I can help you.
