Don't look for cables, look for networking issues instead. What the heck, if you're not going to get your system working with the 2G cables, no good searching for 4G cables is there?
Please get your gig in working order, next look how to improve it. Says an old hand at Mac.
Good luck!
So as the other guy was saying in the previous post, even though the light is on Amber, it still can communicate? in this case, will try to figure out how to make it work again and will upgrade later.

Here's something more: your pic simply doesn't look right: 3 green lights in the X-serve, 2 green lights in the Raid Serve 1st bay, none in the Raid Serve 2nd bay.
Is it supposed to be in working order that way? What RAID level is it supposed to be serving?
Looks like only RAID level 0 or 1 to me. But okay, I'm just a knucklehead...
Its not a cabling issue you have but a dhcp issue. Don't connect the ethernet from the xraid to xserve. Get any cheapo router to handle the dhcp portion. Your issues will be solved.

The raid level is only set up once he can communicate and mount the drives. All looks healthy from the photos.

Jezzy, am I reading this right? Are you really suggesting to connect the XRaid to the Xserve via a router, along with the rest of the home network?
That would be capital information for the OP!
Just what I thought, DHCP wise. Thanx!
