So Xplornet is also microwave. People routinely call it satellite and, it's true, the dish is about same size as satellite dish. Bigger than ours.
I'll get the ISP to check signal. Original installer said it was better than most. I'll also check the router as rgray suggested.
Turbo sticks not an option. We have no cell service at our house but do have 100 m down the road in either direction.
So 1Mega bit /sec (Mbps)= 1x60/8 = 8MBytes/min (MBpm)?
If the math is right, our connection is underperforming. We rarely get 5MBps. <4hrs to download 1GB = 3+MBpm at best. Is it possible for ISP to simply speed up our connection? It is not quick enough to stream your basic youtube video without rebuffering.
