Excuse me? Sorry MF but I think that has got to be one of the most ridiculous things you have ever posted. Care to elaborate as to your reasoning? When have you ever know governments NOT to advertise... anywhere?
So- the ministry of propaganda is focusing on online content.
I wish they would stop littering my mailboxes with printed propaganda. Seems I have no way to stop the harassment. My PO tells me I am unable to request a cease and desist on PC propaganda as I am with other junk mail.
Not to put their party logo on Canadian cheques and not to use my tax dollars to pay their corporate shills to intrude on forums trolling me with propaganda.
Why? Can't you and the rest of the population think for yourselves and make up your own mind? Or do you prefer to only have "information" that you agree with?
I didn't say it was a good idea or proper use of funds, but neither you nor I will stop it. So, I will ignore it as folly and no real threat to anyone. That is after all, the reality.
Uhhmmm, Ok that is an opinion, which you have already stated... where is the reasoning?
Canada Post is a Crown Corporation and until that changes they are free to spend their money as they see fit, within limitations, which do not include no advertising. Nothing ludicrous there... simply looking for "company'/"brand" awareness. A predominate form of marketing.
The government does not need to market itself. Canada Post should not even try to compete for market share against companies that would gladly do what they're doing. Just government nonsense.
I find this news to be excellent. I'm delighted to hear that the government is reading what people are saying about them in political forums.
That means they can't pretend they don't know which decisions are deeply unpopular with the electorate, like the HST for example.
